About this place
Fresh sea bream layered over freshly steamed clay-pot rice and bathed in fragrant dashi makes the sea bream chazuke set meal the primary lunch choice at Ikkoku in Sendagi. Though structured as a set meal, each component is carefully composed. The rice cooked in the earthenware pot offers a gentle natural sweetness on its own, down to the aromatic, lightly crisped grains at the bottom.
For evening seatings or unhurried meals, the kitchen presents multi-course Japanese dining. Guests can choose between the ¥5,500 Standard Course and the ¥11,000 Premium Course, pairing each dish with sake for a quiet, measured evening. Prepared with meticulous care, the courses are as visually appealing as they are flavourful, bringing out the distinct character of the season.
Set inside a thoughtfully renovated traditional Japanese house, the dining space offers a serene ambience arranged with table seating and tatami rooms. Because capacity is limited, reserving in advance is advisable for both lunch and dinner.
